People experience bankruptcies due to divorce and financial hardships that impact credit. This is a great response. They will give all the necessary info. FYI: you are entitled (by law) one free credit report per annum from each of the 3 credit bureaus (equifax, trans-union, experian) after that you will have to pay someone like www.freecreditreport.com which they will try to get you to join their service; however, you do not have to...but again visit www.credit.com; there is a lot of good info on there.
