I get tons of credit card offers in the mail. Does that mean I have good credit or do they just send these out to everyone?

Get out of this mailing list.
Go to
Annual Credit Report.com
(get your three free credit reports while you are at it)
and opt-out of solicitations and mailings.

If you want a good card, search for it yourself.
Bank Rate.com is a good site to find a card you might like.
Pay in full each month for best credit.
Carrying balances can ruin credit, and sometimes it devastates lives…

Just because it says you’re pre-approved doesn’t mean it’s approved. Just go to your local bank and fill out the application and see what happens.

No, it just means you are on a lot of mailing lists. You probably fall within the parameters of the pre-selection lists generated by the credit bureaus for credit card companies. If you actually apply for those offers, you may find that you are turned down.
